Andrzej Wiśniewski
Automation Expert
A practitioner who hates waste
Andrzej Wiśniewski joined Business Pillars Consulting in May 2019. For the previous 12 years, he worked directly on production floors, where he learned what the flow of materials and information actually looks like. He doesn't theorize. If he says a process takes too much time, he has hard evidence in the form of stopwatch measurements. In our company, he is responsible for ensuring the office keeps up with production, so the owner doesn't have to sit over invoices until 9:00 PM.
In 2024 alone, Andrzej completed 19 implementations for SME companies in Lesser Poland and Silesia. His record is shortening the offer preparation time in a trading company from 47 minutes to just 6 minutes. He used simple scripts for this that eliminate manual data entry from PDF price lists. This is concrete recovered time that employees can spend talking to real clients, rather than fighting a keyboard.
Andrzej believes that most companies have one main bottleneck: lack of communication between different Excel files. Instead of urging clients to buy ERP systems for 80,000 PLN, he fixes what they already have. Often it turns out that a proper formula and a small database solve a problem that plagued the crew for 3 years. Works starting tomorrow – that's his favorite rule. He doesn't design solutions that require six months of training.
Privately, Andrzej lives in Wieliczka and spends every free moment in his workshop, where he restores old woodworking machines. This passion translates into his professional work – he has an eye for detail and can spot cracks in processes that others miss. He respects the client's money, so he always looks for the shortest path to the goal. No fluff and no promising miracles that can't be measured.
His approach to automation is based on numbers. On average, his clients manage to recover 3.2 hours per week for one person in administration. With a team of 5, that gives over 15 hours of free time every week. That's almost two full working days that previously slipped through fingers. If you want to check where time is leaking in your company, Andrzej will find that place during a 2-hour audit.
Heads-up: Andrzej can be brutally honest during process analysis. If he thinks a certain report is useless to anyone, he'll say so directly, even if you've been preparing it for the last 4 years. He does this, however, so that your company finally starts earning, rather than just generating unnecessary documentation.
